Carny Island is a Video Board Game which uses mobile phones as playing pieces and portals combined with a specially designed app. Based on art and ideas 10 years in the making, it also features optional 3D printing of playing surfaces and 'squares' to make up giant boards. Clements is designing the experience for the ultimate Halloween party.
Carny Island. Crookwood. Single player mode is targeting release on iPhone as soon as possible, around mid-November 2026.
An iPad version will follow soon after, then a Chinese version.
Kickstarter is planned for April 2027 to fund local networking challenges and an Android version, leading to the Video Board Game launch for Halloween 2027.
